Christmas Energy Balls

One of my tips for eating in the run up to Christmas for our HELLOFIT special is to try to avoid snacking!Thats because - you know you're gonna be eating all sorts before too long so you want to try and be as healthy as you can now - the idea of snacking is a bad habit that we really want to try to drop long term. If we are eating three meals a day we shouldn't need to snack. So its about making sure the meals you do eat are really balance so that you don't feel the need to snack. If you are a sacker! start thinking about how you can change your snacking habits into a small, balanced and nutritious meal. There is however one exception to the rule, and thats when you are about to train and you know its been a while since your last meal. Then you really do need to snack! without eating a balanced meal within two hours of training may mean your training is lack lustre and you don't get as much out of your session as you should. There are of course those times when you are on the run and you just can't get to eat a meal . So if you have to grab something then these energy balls are ideal.

To work in with our Christmas theme I've turned them into Christmas Energy Balls by adding some Christmas Spice!
